Apple recently launched the iPhone 13 range, which are estimated to cost over R30 000 when they arrive in South Africa.

On Wednesday, 15 September 2021, Apple officially confirmed the imminent availability of the iPhone 13. The phone has been lauded for the upgrades it features, especially in comparison to the iPhone 12. According to reports, the battery life, the screen and the storage space are among the upgrades that have been confirmed.

Moreover, due to iPhone being notorious for its high-end prices, potential buyers have inquired about the estimated going price for an iPhone 13, mini, Pro and Pro Max. Considering that the range will first be made available in the United States, the going rate is estimated to be $799.99, $699.99,  $999.99 and $1 099.99 respectively.

When the prices are converted to rands, the iPhone 13 mini is expected to cost around R9 000 and just over R30 000 for the iPhone 13 Pro Max. The sum excludes local import added costs.
