Tonight’s episode of I Am Bishop I Makamu sees acclaimed gospel musician, Keke Phoofolo, deliver his life-changing testimony after a period of depression.
In the upcoming episode of Moja Love’s I Am Bishop I Makamu, which airs tonight, 23 July 2019, the Bishop is seen preparing for the Night Of Strength, which will see him deliver the message of God to his devoted congregation. Thereafter, guest of honour, Keke Phoofolo, attends church to deliver his testimony which recounts his survival of depression through his belief in God. In a quick scene featured in the trailer, Phoofolo is seen passionately preaching to the congregation about the power of Christ, whilst they listen intensely to his sermon.
Fans took to social media to comment on the trailer for the upcoming show, with many stating that the Bishop, once again, displays a sense of arrogance in the reality series. Cynthia Coshla shared a comment on Facebook which stated, “Bishop is full of himself. They (the congregation) see him as normal [because] they brag about money that other people worked hard for.” Winnie McCarta shared those sentiments, stating, “I feel sorry for people who listen to him preach.”
The reality series is described as an introduction to the man to whom a few people have access away from the pulpit. Bishop I Makamu is known to many as a religious leader who preaches to his congregation about Christianity, empowering them to its teachings through his sermons.
I Am Bishop I Makamu airs on Tuesdays at 22:00 on Moja Love, DStv channel 157.
