Tuesday night’s episode of South African reality series, I Am Bishop I Makamu, saw the religious leader giving back to the community, prompting praise for his philanthropic efforts.
The latest episode of Moja Love’s I Am Bishop I Makamu, which aired on Tuesday, 20 August 2019, saw the Bishop making plans to expand his religious empire by building another church which will accommodate more believers.
The episode also showed him visiting an underprivileged community, where he provided the residents with much needed items. Bishop I Makamu set out to help a rehabilitated former drug addict, who seemed hopeless at the time. He helped him to understand God’s purpose for each individual and provided him with a new home where he could start afresh.
Viewers praised the Bishop on social media for his philanthropic efforts, with many stating that it is good to see the positive impact he makes in the community.
Veliswa Veve Ntilashe commented with, “The most powerful things someone does is give when they see a need. I am moved by this episode. The Bishop is a true man of God.” Semakaleng Mokonyane shared those sentiments with, “I love this show so much. I’m inspired as a young minister of the Gospel, by the life of Bishop I Makamu.”
The reality series is described as an introduction to the man to whom a few people have access away from the pulpit. Bishop I Makamu is known to many as a religious leader who preaches to his congregation about Christianity, empowering them to its teachings through his sermons.
I Am Bishop I Makamu airs on Tuesdays at 22:00 on Moja Love, DStv channel 157.
