Is Harriet leaving The Queen?

Connie Ferguson, who plays the main character of Harriet Khoza on The Queen, in addition to executive producing the series, is not scheduled to leave the series in the near future.

Connie Ferguson is a South African actress, producer and business owner, and is responsible for the creation and production of Mzansi Magic’s The Queen. The series forms part of her company, Ferguson Films, which she co-owns with her husband, Shona Ferguson. Aside from creating the show, Connie portrays the lead character of Harriet Khoza, who has narrowly escaped death many times throughout the six seasons.

Known as one of the most notorious drug dealers in Johannesburg, Harriet Khoza has been hunted by many of her enemies, who have attempted to remove her from the high-stake industry. Most recently, she was targeted by Hector Sebata, who mistakenly killed her daughter, Kea, instead of her. According to the teasers of the upcoming months, Harriet is not expected to exit the storyline, however, The Queen is known for its unexpected twists, such as the murder of Jerry Maake, played by Shona Ferguson.
