The second season of Zodwa Wabantu’s hit Moja Love reality show, Zodwa Wabantu: Uncensored, is currently in production and is expected to premiere in early 2021.
Zodwa Wabantu is a South Africa media personality who has become widely popular for her candid nature and bold attitude. She first made a name for herself as a socialite who attended parties in Durban, where she performed for crowds of adoring fans. Zodwa Wabantu has been open about her personal life on social media, and has given fans even more insight into her life with her reality series, Zodwa Wabantu: Uncensored, which aired on Moja Love in 2019.
The first season of her show generated a large viewership, as it included all aspects of her life, including her relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Ntobeko Linda. Zodwa Wabantu also faced backlash for comments she made on the show, which were offensive and derogatory to the LGBTQ+ community, according to some viewers. She then issued a public apology, which led to her being known as a candid personality who says what she wants without meaning to be malicious or offensive.
After months of requests, Zodwa Wabantu finally confirmed that season two of her reality series is currently in production. She added that it was delayed due to the nationwide lockdown. In an interview with JustNje in September 2020, the media personality shared that her show is expected to air in early 2021, and will even feature a cameo from Pearl Thusi.
When asked if Zodwa Wabantu: Uncensored will include details about her public breakup with controversial ex-boyfriend, Vusi Ngubane, she revealed that viewers would be given insight into all aspects of that relationship, which resulted in her accusing him of being a fraudster. Zodwa Wabantu will also be showcasing her son, who has been kept out of the spotlight in an effort to protect him from public scrutiny.
