Izangoma Zodumo’s Prudence “Ngwe” Magagula is set to appear alongside Makgotso “Gogo Maweni” Makopo on Mzansi Magic’s upcoming reality show, which premieres on Wednesday, 7 October 2020. The series will follow the traditional healers and showcase how they balance their calling and modern lifestyles.

In an interview with JustNje today, 6 October 2020, Prudence discussed the intention of the show, which is to enlighten those who have a calling and are scared to accept it. The registered nurse and mother explained that she has been able to balance all aspects of her life because her calling allows her to do so. Prudence hopes that viewers will be able to acknowledge that being a traditional healer does not been that you are not a functioning human being who is able to integrate with society.

She stated, “If someone feels like it is offending them or it is not okay, they are more than welcome to not watch. I have prepared myself to receive both negative and positives. I am proud of what I am doing, and I know I do it right, according to me and what my ancestors are guiding me to do.”
