Jacquees’ ‘You’ music video reaches 10 million views

The song is part of the singer’s debut album, titled ‘4275’, which was released on Friday, 15 June 2018 by Cash Money Records.

The music video for the song ‘You’ by new school RnB singer, Jacquees, whose full name is Rodriguez Jacquees Broadnax, has received over 10 million views since it first premiered on YouTube on Thursday, 8 November 2018.

The video is currently his most watched YouTube upload since the video for ‘At the Club’ featuring Dej Loaf amassed 82 million views in 2017.

The music video follows the story of a couple in a romantic relationship. The woman suspects her significant other is cheating on her and is unimpressed by his efforts to ease the conflict by buying her material things.

The song is part of his debut album titled ‘4275’ released on Friday, 15 June 2018. Artists such as Young Thug, Trey Songz and Chris Brown are featured on songs on the album.

Jacquees told Billboard that he named the album after his old home address. “I learned a lot from over there because that side helped me grow into the man I am today and I always wanted to go back and pay homage, pay my dues to 4275 because that’s where I started dreaming,” he said.

He said living at the house was an important lesson. “My mother lost ‘4275’ at one point and we gained a lot of gratitude for some of the smaller things in life,” he said.
