This week on The Queen marked the return of two of its beloved actresses, Jessica Nkosi as Thando Sebata and lead, Connie Ferguson as Harriet Khoza.
Mzansi Magic took to Twitter on Monday, 27 September 2021, to confirm the return of Jessica Nkosi as Thando Sebata on The Queen. Nkosi’s leave of absence from the soapie and her return were overshadowed by the teasers of the then imminent return of Connie Ferguson. However, fans of the show were happy to see the villainous character return, as they believe that she marks the conclusion of the Johnny and Dorothy storyline of the Sebata family.
The fact was further corroborated by the return of Connie Ferguson during the Wednesday, 29 September 2021, episode. Ferguson’s return as Harriet Khoza marked the continuation of her illicit affair with Hector Sebata, played by Rapulana Seiphemo. This is as Hector had already begun to shift his focus back to his relationship with Harriet, and is thus ignoring his wife, Vuyiswa, played by Zandile Msutwana.
Ferguson Films has also already teased some details about the future of the storyline between Harriet and Hector. It seems that the two will be getting married in subsequent episodes, in what will most likely be a surprise and quick wedding. The Queen airs every weeknight on Mzansi Magic, DStv channel 161, at 21:00.
