Jo-Anne Reyneke has confirmed that she will be joining the cast of SABC 1’s long-running soapie, Generations: The Legacy, as she takes on the role of Refilwe Zungu.
Jo-Anne Reyneke confirmed her new role on SABC 1’s long-running weekday series, Generations: The Legacy, on Tuesday, 28 July 2020. In response to an announcement post by a local entertainment commentator, the actress stated that the telenovela is now her new home and thanked her fans for their outpouring support.
Jo-Anne will be taking on the role of Refilwe Zungu, who is Walter Nkaba’s step-daughter. The character is speculated to be a charming and ambitious woman who is able to stand up for herself against alpha males. Her biological father, Daniel Zungu, died many years ago, leaving her a fortune which enabled her to kickstart her luxurious life.
Jo-Anne Reyneke has previously starred in numerous other weekday soapies, such as Isidingo, Muvhango, Scandal! and Rhythm City. Most recently, she took on the lead role in BET Africa’s comedy series, Black Tax, and has also been confirmed as part of BET Africa’s upcoming telenovela, Isono.
