Julius Malema added his opinion on the boycotting of the Africans Unite concert by lambasting rapper, AKA, for encouraging South Africans not to attend the concert if te Burna Boy was still the headlining performer. The two superstars had a war of words of social media after Burna Boy threatened violence on AKA. He had also tweeted that South Africans were mercilessly killing Nigerians during the recent violent unrest in the country.

Looking forward to receiving and being entertained by my brother @burnaboy here at his home called South Africa. There's no mascot that can stop him from performing, he's one of our own and we will protect him. We must resolutely oppose regionalism led by political illiterates.
