K.O to release new music before the end of the year

The ‘Caracara’ hitmaker has revealed that he plans to release new music before the end of the year, following the release of his EP earlier this year.

Former Teargas member K.O has revealed plans to release a new single this month to commemorate his birthday month. K.O shot to fame as one third of the hit Hip-Hop group Teargas, which was responsible for the hit singles ‘Chance’ and ‘Mhlobo Wami.’

This year, K.O was featured on DJ Maphorisa’s ‘iWalk Ye Phara,’ alongside DJ Raybel, Moonchild Sanelly and Zulu Mkhathini. In addition to that, the rapper also released a two-track EP titled Two Piece.

The EP featured alleged rivals Cassper Nyovest and AKA on two separate songs.

Ahead of the release of the EP, speaking to local media in an article published on Saturday, 9 June 2018, the rapper commented:

“I haven’t been out of the studio since I put out SR2. I had recorded this one record [with] AKA, and I was going to follow that up with another single a month or two later, depending on how the first track did. Both records were going to feature someone… Instead of me opting to can the Kiernan record – he took time from being busy recording his album to give me a hot 16 – I decided it might be a good attempt, on my end, for me to try to build on the unity thing. I felt me being on the same record as Cassper was huge for the culture.”

K.O has not revealed any other details pertaining to the upcoming release, but fans can look forward to another banger from the rapper ahead of the festive season.
