Channel O has confirmed that the musical lineup for the upcoming episode of The Next Level is set to feature Kabza De Small, K.O, Sir Trill, Makwa and Mac Shawty.
Channel O took to Twitter on Wednesday, 14 July 2021, to confirm the lineup for the third episode of newly launched music show, The Next Level. The show premiered on Channel O on Friday, 2 July 2021, and the premiere thereof came on the back of the country spending its first Friday under new lockdown regulations. Therefore, viewers were excited about the show, as they believed it would be an apt replacement for Lockdown House Party.
The show is executive produced by DJ pH, who was one of the co-executive producers of Lockdown House Party. However, since the premiere, it has become clear that pH was the hip-hop and pop element of Lockdown House Party, and Shimza was behind the house-laden focus of the show. This is as the new show has predominantly been focusing on popular and hip-hop-based musicians and producer-DJs.
Hence, the upcoming lineup is detailed as featuring Kabza De Small, K.O, Sir Trill, Mac Shawty and Makwa. The episode is set to air on Friday, 16 July 2021, on Channel O, DStv channel 320, at 20:00.
