Kay Sibiya has been announced as the latest cast member to join Generations: The Legacy, taking on the role of Siyanda, who is Jack Mabaso’s younger half-brother.
Kay Sibiya debuted on the latest episode of SABC 1’s Generations: The Legacy, which aired on Tuesday, 12 January 2021. The actor assumes the role of the confident and ambitious Siyanda, who comes from humble beginnings and was raised by his mother and father. Whilst he has an exceptionally close relationship with his mother, he is shocked to learn of a monumental secret that she has been keeping from him all his life.
When Siyanda’s mother was 17 years old, she had given birth to a son who grew up to become the notorious Jack Mabaso. This, in turn, makes Jack and Siyanda half-brothers, which is something neither of them anticipated. According to a statement reposted by Kay on Twitter on Tuesday, 12 January 2021, after a sangoma tells Jack about his mother, he makes it his mission to find her. His plan, however, is disrupted when Tshidi discovers what he is up to.
