The pair each posted professional photos on their Instagram pages on Thursday, 24 January 2019, and left clues in their captions alluding to a possible collaboration.
Afro-pop singers, Kelly Khumalo and Vusi Nova, took to social media on Thursday, 24 January 2019, to post regal photographs.
The two of them shared two different images from the same shoot, where Vusi Nova was sitting on golden throne and Khumalo was next to him. Both are seen wearing all black clothing, with Khumalo wearing a chic ensemble. Vusi Nova, whose real name is Vusi Nongxa, teased fans captioning the image with a cheeky comment alluding to a possible collaboration. “Perhaps an album between the pair of us is coming,” Vusi Nova said in his post.
Khumalo used the hashtag “vocal royalty” to caption the image. Both stars are known for their impressive vocal range, delivering memorable performances and belting out hits like Uthando, I’d Rather Go Blind, Sobabili and Ndikuthandile.
The artists also captioned their photos with the words Thumela Omalume and Zungandithembi. These are two songs that they collaborated on, with the former appearing on Khumalo’s Unleashed album and the latter on Vusi Nova’s Manyan-Nyan album.
Both musicians are currently active in their music careers. Vusi Nova is gearing up for his Evening of Love performance at the Sun Arena in Menlyn Pretoria alongside American RnB singer Carl Thomas, Ntsika and 047. Khumalo has been promoting the music from her Unleashed album released in November 2018. The LP is Kelly’s fifth album and features artists Kyle Deutsch, Brenda Mtambo and J.FL.O.
