Kim Kardashian West donned a full ensemble from the luxury designer brand, Balmain, in a series of recent Instagram post, which was designed by Olivier Rousteing.
Kim Kardashian West shared a visual of herself on Instagram on Wednesday, 23 September 2020, in which she posed in Balmain’s latest pieces with the new PB monogram. The new pattern is said to revisit Monsieur Pierre Balmain’s signature motif from the 70s, and reflects the founder’s fascination with the labyrinths of France’s renaissance gardens.
Kim simply captioned the post, “Balmain Barbie,” and paired the cropped top with a high neckline with high-waisted biker shorts, matching gloves, and the simple Balmain sliders. She also sported the Balmain bag, which was also designed with the PB monogram.
The chic design saw Balmain’s creative designer, Olivier Rousteing, revisiting Pierre Balmain’s signature motif as a tribute to the fashion house’s history.

I feel so proud ? When I saw Kim wearing the original monogram from Mr Pierre Balmain from 1970 I feel so proud . World has changed and obviously changing a lot during this year but certain things remain forever. Mr Pierre Balmain had his muses and I have mine. His muses from Brigitte Bardot to Josephine Baker shown to him Love Support and friendship . Today Kim is one of My muses and will be part and is part nowadays of the history like the icons I mentioned before and will be part of fashion history. What is luxury today ? What is the meaning of this word ? Being the witness of our time and thinking timeless more than trends. That’s why I love Fashion because we are not only living in the present but in the future. Mr Pierre Balmain created this monogram inspired by labyrinth of the renaissance of les jardins à la française. Such a beautiful story that I want to bring back to make sure new generations will know the history of the Brand and not only my decade at Balmain. Mr Pierre Balmain was a man that had a vision from 1945 and clearly went through a lot at a time but made sure with his career that people will get his point ? #from1970to2020
