South African actress and media all-rounder, Kuli Roberts, is the latest actress to join the cast of Mzansi Magic’s The Queen, for the fifth season of the show.
The actress confirmed her new role in response to an announcement post shared by television commentator, Phil Mphela on Friday, 8 May 2020. The media personality is expected to join as the character, Mildred Sefesa, a socialite, housewife, and supposed do-gooder. In a comment to local media which was later shared on her Twitter page, Kuli stated, “I’ve always loved The Queen and what they do, so joining them is a career highlight. “Co-creator of the show, Connie Ferguson added, “We look forward to seeing her breathing life to Sefatsa.”
Some Kuli Roberts fans shared their excitement on social media, with the actress retweeting a number of their posts to show her gratitude. One fan, Shaun Mukhari, wrote, “Can’t wait to see u in action sisters but I know for a fact that it’s going to be a GREAT season of The Queen.”
