Kwa Mam’Mkhize nominated for Hollywood African Prestigious Award

Kwa Mam’Mkhize has been nominated in the Best Reality Show category at the Hollywood African Prestigious Awards, as announced by the show’s star, Shauwn Mkhize, on social media.

Kwa Mam’Mkhize has been acknowledged by the Hollywood African Prestigious Awards, following its nomination in the Best Reality Show category. The show’s star, Shauwn Mkhize, shared the news in an Instagram post today, 9 September 2020, stating, “Today, [I get to] share some good news of my own, all thanks to your love and support. My show, Kwa Mam’Mkhize, has been nominated at the Hollywood African Prestigious Awards in the category, Best Reality Show.”

She also revealed that her son, Andile Mpisane, has been nominated in the Best New Independent African Act and New Male Independent African Music Video categories for his song Umcimbi. The song also serves as the show’s title track. Shauwn concluded her caption by expressing gratitude, stating, “We are humbled, excited and really appreciate the opportunity. [We are] looking forward to the day to go and fly the South African flag high.”

The Hollywood African Prestigious Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on Monday, 2 November 2020, in Los Angeles, California. Due to the current ban on international travel, the event is expected to take place virtually. The event celebrates industry players for their achievements and contribution to television, film and music, at a nomination fee of 100 USD per category and submission.
