Kwesta to headline paid-for virtual concert

Published on

Kwesta has teamed up with leading online hip-hop platform, SlikourOnLife, for the first edition of its paid-for virtual hip-hop concert, with Kwesta as the headlining act.

Kwesta announced his latest venture with SlikourOnLife on Wednesday, 27 May 2020. The two influential hip-hop entities are planning to host the first local hip-hop virtual concert, with viewers being required to pay for a subscription in order to attend the concert.

The concert is scheduled to take place on Friday, 29 May 2020, at 20:00 (CAT), at a cost of R90

One of the first notable South African acts to host a paid-for virtual concert was gospel artist, Dumi Mkokstad, earlier this month. Details about the results gleaned from Dumi Mkokstad’s experience were never shared, and the gospel artist has since deleted posts about the concert.
