The event, which is organised by the rapper’s Raplyf Records company, will host the fourth edition of the Umshubhelo Music Festival in Katlehong on Saturday, 20 April 2019.
Rap superstar, Kwesta, reminded fans on Facebook on Monday, 14 January 2019, that he would be performing at the Easter Edition of the ‘Umshubelo Music Festival’ in April.
The ‘Ngud’’ hit-maker had also tweeted about the event on Thursday, 10 January 2019, saying that the event would take place at the Huntersfield Stadium in Katlehong on Saturday, 20 April 2019. The event is organised by the rapper’s label, Raplyf Records.
“Raplyf Records presents the 4th Edition of Umshubhelo Music Festival at Huntersfield Stadium, with performances from Mzansi’s top urban acts alongside the Rap Lyf Records Family,” the company said in a Facebook post. The record label is co-owned by Kwesta and fellow hip-hop artist, Kid X.
Both general and VIP tickets will be sold in four phases. General and VIP tickets sold in the first phase will cost R80 and R250, respectively, and this promotion will last until Thursday, 31 January 2019. The price of tickets will increase by R50 each month. The last phase of ticket sales takes place from Monday, 1 April 2019 to Saturday, 20 April 2019. Tickets can also be purchased at the gate at R250 and R400 for general and VIP tickets respectively.
