Popular American rapper, Rick Ross and Rich Homie Quan, will be joining Kwesta to perform their brand new singles at the Heineken Experience.
American rappers, Rich Homie Quan and Rick Ross, are headed for South Africa to perform alongside Kwesta as part of the Heineken SA 192 Countries Campaign. Rich Homie Quan took to social media yesterday, 11 December 2018, to share a video promoting the Heineken Experience, which will take place at the Mustang Room in Johannesburg on Friday, 14 December 2018.
Kwesta will also be performing his two singles, ‘Kuhambani’ and ‘Come From The Bottom,’ which feature Rick Ross and Rich Homie Quan respectively. Kwesta previously collaborated with American rapper, Wale, on the hit single, ‘Spirit,’ which has been streamed more than three million times on YouTube to date.
Much like with the ‘Spirit’ music video, the two new singles’ music videos will also be shot in Katlehong, where Kwesta grew up.
Speaking to local media in an article published on Wednesday, 12 December 2018, Heineken SA’s marketing manager, Themba Ratsibe, commented:
“This collaboration could not have happened at a better time. It’s also taking place at the right time where the world is drawn to the African perspective, so the fusion of different cultures and sounds from this collaboration will certainly tug at music lovers’ heartstrings. We’re happy to be a part of this and for this project to be a part of our 192 countries campaign – it makes perfect sense.”
