Kwesta’s manager, Nota, faces backlash for criticism of Bonginkosi and Zulu Man

Kwesta’s manager and business partner, Nhlamulo “Nota” Baloyi, has landed in hot water for his criticism of the new releases by Cassper Nyovest and Nasty C.

Kwesta’s manager, Nhlamulo “Nota” Baloyi, criticised the new releases from Cassper Nyovest and Nasty C on Friday, 21 August 2020. The respected figure made it clear that he is not a fan of the new singles, Bonginkosi and Zulu Man. He tweeted, “Maybe I need to fast for my ears to forgive me!” His harsh proclamations led to social media users lambasting not him, but the artist he represents, Kwesta.

Cassper Nyovest and Nasty C’s fans banded together to criticise Kwesta’s latest releases. Many suggested that the double release of 2 Skeif and Njandini was not impactful. Other social media users suggested that Nota should rather focus on punting his own artist, rather than lambasting other hip-hop artists on Twitter.
