Lady Gaga hints at the release of her next album

Pop sensation Lady Gaga alluded to the release of her next album in response to a tweet from a speculating fan on Wednesday, 13 March 2019.

The award-winning singer has thrilled fans by hinting at the release of her next album in response to social media speculation. In a tweet published on Wednesday, 13 March 2019, she commented, “Rumors I’m pregnant? Yeah, I’m pregnant with #LG6”. ‘LG6’ reportedly stands for Gaga’s sixth studio album, Lady Gaga 6, which she has abbreviated with the hashtag.

The rumours stem from fan and media speculation about the singer’s relationship with her A Star Is Born co-star Bradley Cooper. The speculations went a step further, with outlets publishing Gaga’s rumoured pregnancy, which sparked fans to ask the songstress if she was in fact pregnant on Twitter. The songstress shut down the baseless rumours and turned the attention to her much anticipated album.

Shortly thereafter, Gaga began following musicians BloodPop and Rihanna on social media, which had fans further anticipating a collaboration between the three artists. According to Attitude.co.uk, the singer was also seen in recording studios with producers such as Boys Noize, DJ White Shadow and Sophie.

The album will serve as Gaga’s follow-up to her 2016 album Joanne. Since then, the pop star has won a slew of awards for her song Shallow, which was featured in the blockbuster, A Star Is Born. These include an Academy Award, Golden Globe, Critics Choice Award and two Grammy Awards.

The singer is currently amidst her two-year residency, titled Lady Gaga Enigma, which is hosted in Las Vegas. She is said to be working simultaneously on her album as well as on her live shows.
