The South African media personality shared some insight into how upcoming make-up artists can better their craft to attract potential clients.

South African media personality and radio host, Lerato Kganyago, recently posted that she was searching for a Bloemfontein-based make-up artist to assist her during her upcoming trip. Following her request, the radio host took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, 17 September 2019, to share her gratitude to social media users who took the time to share the news and help her find suitable make-up artists, as well to give budding make-up artists some tips.

She stated that she has shortlisted the recommendations to five potential artists. She continued by sharing advise with budding make-up artists, saying that their social media pages should not be set on private, as this does not allow for potential clients to see the work. Lerato also asked make-up artists to post their work more often, the more work they have on their social media pages, the better it is for potential clients to make a decision.

The media personality also mentioned that make-up artists should refrain from only sharing images of themselves on their pages. She said that this gives potential clients the impression that the said make-up artists can only create looks on themselves and not on other people.
