Letoya Makhene has thanked fans after being inundated with praise since the airing of an episode of Generations: The Legacy where she gave a singing performance.
Letoya Makhene took to Twitter on Friday, 9 October 2020, to share a clip from a recent episode of Generations: The Legacy, which aired in early October 2020. The episode saw Letoya’s character, Tshidi Phakade, serenading Kabisi Moroka, played by Mpho Joseph Molepo, as he listened with adoration.
She captioned the post, “There’s been a buzz around an episode that flighted a couple of days ago. Sadly, I missed it, but I managed to find it for you! Thank you for the amazing compliments.”
Letoya explained that the song was composed and performed by her father, Blondie Makhene, in the 1980s, and is titled Baby I’m Missing You. Many of her fans continued to shower her with praises following her post, with one person asking her to enter Mzansi Magic’s Idols SA. Letoya responded with, “Been there, done that. [I] was a contestant in the first season at age 17 and a presenter on the second season.”
