Legendary rapper Lil Wayne and Californian rock band Blink-182 have announced that they will be embarking on a co-headlining summer tour of North America, beginning on Thursday, 27 June 2019.
As some of the biggest names in music, Lil Wayne and Blink-182 may be an unexpected pairing but they are bound to pull major and diverse crowds this summer. The tour sees the artists play at a host of different indoor and outdoor venues. Neck Deep will serve as the supporting act throughout the tour.
Lil Wayne has been going from strength to strength following the release of his much-anticipated album Tha Carter V, released on Friday, 28 September 2018. The album features the smash hit Uproar, featuring Swizz Beatz. Recently, Wayne also featured on Jozzy’s single Sucka Free, which was released on Friday, 17 May 2019.
Blink-182 has also been keeping busy, releasing their explosive new single Blame It On My Youth on Saturday, 11 May 2019.
The unexpected pairing will be embarking on their Live Nation-produced tour beginning in Columbus, Ohio’s Nationwide Arena on Thursday, 27 June 2019 and ending on Monday, 16 September 2019 in Cincinnati’s Riverbend Music Centre. This will see them play a total of 38 dates across North America and Canada in cities like Hartford, Saratoga Springs, Indianapolis, Toronto, West Palm Beach, Tampa, Atlanta, Austin Dallas, Seattle, Denver, Salt Lake City, Detroit and Chicago.
They play two festivals including Vans Warped Tour in Atlantic City on Sunday, 30 June 2019 and Riot Fest in Chicago on Friday, 13 September 2019.
