Afro-soul singer Bucie collaborated with hip-hop superstar Kwesta for her latest single, Thando Lwethu, which was released on Tuesday, 12 February 2019.
The single, which was also released with an audio video on YouTube, has received well over two hundred thousand views since its release, proving its popularity in the current South African music scene. Thando Lwethu is taken off the singer’s latest album, Rebirth, and has received major airplay on local radio stations.
The songstress has been on a promotional tour of her album throughout 2019, where her single has caught the attention of many musical critics and fans alike. The gentle song incorporates smooth African beats which add to its mid-tempo sound. Kwesta brings in his signature deep tone, which contrasts Bucie’s voice, complimenting it at the same time.
The single is available for purchase on iTunes.
