Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz released his latest single called The One on Tuesday, 23 April 2019, marking his first solo offering of the year.
This comes after the artist’s promotion of singles from his South African Music Awards-nominated album, A Boy From Tandale.
The One is an upbeat, afro-pop song with an emphasis on the 808s and the live element of trumpets. The song is a declaration of his love for the woman is his life and his ambitions of eventually getting married to her. The song was produced by Lizer Classic under the record label Wasafi Limited T/A WCB Records.
To promote the single, Diamond Platnumz also released a music video for the song, which already sits at over 3 million views on YouTube since its release.
