South African artist, Dr Peppa, has released his debut single titled ‘Da Lawds,’ on Thursday, 13 December 2018.
His debut offering features some of South Africa’s popular hit-makers, namely multiple award-winning hip-hop artist, Cassper Nyovest, and Beast, who gained much traction for his feature on DJ Naves and Sphectacula’s ‘Bhampa,’ as well as ‘Ngempela’ feature artist, Howard, who is also credited for the single’s production.
The single is a rags-to-riches story and sees all the musicians reflecting on and detailing their personal journeys in the music industry, and the various challenges they had to overcome. Fans will appreciate the apparent honesty, sincerity and motivational nature of the ‘Da Lawds.’
