Listen to Gabriel Rubinstein’s album, Piedras de Rubi 4

Published on

Alternative musician Gabriel Rubinstein has returned with his latest addition to his Piedras de Rubí series, Piedras de Rubi 4, which was released on Thursday, 9 May 2019.

Piedras de Rubí 4 is a seven-track album that features a unique array of sounds from Rubinstein.

The album begins with Solo Quiero Encontrar, translating to “I just want to know” in English, which is a cinematic tune where Rubenstein showcases his robust vocal’s tones beside a percussion-centered beat that enlists delicate chords to add texture. No Decimos Nada contrasts this by taking on a Middle Eastern flair through the concentration on a delicate, but seductive melody created by the strings of a harp.

The album is capped off on an uplifting note with Tinieblas. Here, Rubinstein experiments with a more gospel and choral sound, with a choir opening with a moving verse, this pushed even further with the addition of electric chords and robust trumpets.

The album is available for purchase on iTunes.
