Roméo Elvis album Chocolat

Belgian hip-hop artist Roméo Elvis released his debut album Chocolat on Friday, 19 April 2019.

Chocolat consists of an ambitious nineteen tracks that showcase Roméo’s bombastic, French raps alongside dynamic hip-hop beats.

The album begins with the prelude, Intro. Dee Eye, Vynk and Eazy Dew produced the song. Here we see Roméo discuss the ups and downs he has endured on his journey to becoming a successful rapper and releasing his first album. This is followed by the album’s title-track, Chocolat, which is another word for hashish. Here we see Roméo reminisce about his youth, discussing how he used to smoke too much chocolat.

Another album highlight is the album’s lead single Malade. Here Roméo raps on a moody instrumental melody that enlists metallic guitar riffs to add texture. Romeo solemnly raps about heartache and a desire to be isolated.

The album is available for purchase on iTunes.
