Country crooner Sam Grow released his new album Love And Whiskey today, 3 May 2019.
The 12-track album delves deep into Grow’s personal life, with songs speaking about love, loss and family. The album features the singer’s breakthrough singles such as Boots, History, God Made Small Towns, Battle Of The South and Nobody’s You. According to the rising star, the single Boots serves as the backbone of the meaningful album. In a May 2019 interview with Milfordbeacon.com, Grow explains that the song was written for his father who passed away in September 2018.
He went on to state, “My dad was a huge influence when it comes to music… my dad was my biggest influence. He truly was what made me fall in love with music. Losing him in September was one of the lowest points of my life.”
The album pays homage to the singer’s father and maintains the country essence which Grow is known for.
The album is available for purchase on iTunes.
