Listen to Shaggy’s new single You, featuring Alexander Stewart

Reggae icon Shaggy teamed up with 19-year-old Canadian singer Alexander Stewart for his latest dance song You, which was released on Friday, 29 March 2019.

The song talks about having eyes for one particular person, despite being tempted by external distractions. Laid over a steel-drum instrumental and techno beats, Stewart leads the song with the high-energy chorus, whilst Shaggy contributes his signature adlibs and reggae verses. You incorporates mainstream pop tones, along with Jamaican rhythmic influences.

The single was accompanied by an audio video on YouTube, which has received over seventy-three thousand views since its release. The audio visuals show a series of images of model-like girls, set in front of brightly coloured backgrounds, who are repeatedly shown throughout with the lyrics streaming across them.

The single is available for purchase on iTunes.
