Loyiso MacDonald bids farewell to The Queen’s Kagiso Khoza

Loyiso MacDonald has thanked Mzansi Magic and Ferguson Films for his role on The Queen, following his last episode on the popular telenovela.

Mzansi Magic took to Twitter on Friday, 28 May 2021, to bid farewell to beloved and original cast member, Loyiso MacDonald, who played the character of Kagiso Khoza on The Queen. On the day, MacDonald’s closing storyline came to a head when he and his nuclear family finally moved out of the Khoza mansion.

MacDonald’s departure from the telenovela was reported earlier in the month, which came as a surprise to many The Queen fans. The telenovela has been losing original cast members of late and his departure came after that of Xolani Mayekiso, who played the role of Thato Maake. While the telenovela bid farewell to Kagiso Khoza, no official word on Zenande Mfenyane, who plays Goodness Mabuza’s possible departure has been shared.

MacDonald shared the farewell post from Mzansi Magic and added a caption affirming that he enjoyed his time on the telenovela. There has been no word on what MacDonald is set to do after his departure from The Queen.
