M-Net has announced a way to keep children entertained throughout the national lockdown period, by making three children’s movie channels available for viewing to all DStv customers.
In a statement on Friday, 3 April 2020, M-Net Movies announced that it would be making its kid’s animation movies cluster, titled Animania, available to Compact, Access and Premium customers. The initiative was launched on Saturday, 4 April 2020, with M-Net stating, “Animania will keep the kids occupied on Saturday afternoons throughout the national lockdown and beyond, into the month of May. On M-Net Movies Smile, the line-up kicks in just before 11:00, and for the delightful stories on M-Net Movies All Stars and M-Net Movies Zone, the kids have to be ready shortly thereafter.”
