M-Net previews upcoming series, Lioness, starring Shannon Esra
M-Net has announced the upcoming premiere of its next original drama series, Lioness, which will be starring acclaimed actress, Shannon Esra in the lead role.
M-Net took to Twitter on Thursday, 19 November 2020, to preview its upcoming drama series, Lioness, which is scheduled to premiere in 2021. The clip was simply captioned, “You will hear her roar.”
The trailer showed Shannon Esra seated with her head down at a table in a dark room, in what appeared to be overalls. The actress, who will be taking on the lead role, appeared perplexed as she stared directly into the camera and stated, “Backing down isn’t in my nature.”
The teaser then concluded with M-Net announcing that the thrilling crime drama will debut in 2021. Shannon is well-known for her role on M-Net’s other original drama series, Still Breathing, which aired in early 2020, where she assumed the role of Candice. She has also appeared in various other local telenovelas, including The Queen and The River.
