M-Net’s upcoming telenovela, Legacy, will see many former Isidingo actors forming the integral cast of the series, such as Kgomotso Christopher, Leeanda Reddy and Jay Anstey.
M-Net’s Legacy, which will premiere on Monday, 21 September 2020, follows the elite Price family and their extended associates, who are all looking to take over Sebastian Price’s empire. The integral cast members are no strangers to South African television, as many of them have appeared on SABC 3’s Isidingo, which ended in early 2020.
The lead roles are played by Kgomotso Christopher and Michelle Botes, who played Katlego Sibeko and Cherel De Villiers-Haines respectively on Isidingo. Other actors who appear in Legacy and are known for their roles on Isidingo are; Leeanda Reddy, who played Priya Naicker, Jay Anstey, who played Charlie Holmes, Mary-Anne Barlow, who played Dr Beth McNamara, and Don Mlangeni, who played Zebediah Matabane.
Kgomotso took to Twitter on Sunday, 16 August 2020, to express excitement at her reunion with Leeanda Reddy, stating, “A friend. A sister. My girl. A moment we prayed for when we last worked together… that we would reunite.”
