Major League DJz to perform at Sumo’s ‘All White New Year’s Eve Affair’

The pair, who is well known in local music circles, will be leading the New Year’s Eve celebrations at the popular Johannesburg nightclub.

Popular DJ Duo, Major League DJz, will be performing at the ‘All White New Year’s Eve Affair’ at Sumo Nightclub in Rosebank, in northern Johannesburg on Monday, 31 December 2018.

The twins, Bandile and Banele, have worked with many major South African hip-hop artists and are well-known for several songs, including ‘Zulu Girls’, featuring Riky Rick, Cassper Nyovest and Danger, as well as the track,’Slyza Tsotsi’, featuring Cassper Nyovest, Ricky Rick, Okmalumkoolkat and Carpo.

The pair are also hosted the 2017 iteration of the ‘All White New Year’s Eve Affair’.

Attendees of the event are expected to come dressed in all-white attire as per the title of the event.

The club said people would not want to miss out on the event. “If you made last year’s party, then you know it’s a Big Deal!” Sumo said in an Instagram post. “All Roads lead to SUMO on the 31st [of December 2018] for our Annual All White New Year’s Eve Affair.

The event will be broadcast on the Trace urban music channel. Tickets to the event are available for purchase at Webtickets. No one under the age of 23 will be allowed at the event.
