Linden-based restaurant, Buns Out, owned by media personality, Maps Maponyane, has announced its indefinite closure, due to the coronavirus outbreak and imminent national lockdown.
In an Instagram post on Monday, 23 March 2020, Buns Out stated, “Hey Team Buns, we are closed from 17:00 today indefinitely. We hope you can understand and we look forward to seeing you in the future.” The closing of the restaurant follows President Cyril Ramaphosa’s national address on Monday, 23 March 2020, which ordered all non-essential businesses to close down for the duration of the 21-day lockdown.
