Mashabela Galane has been announced as the presenter of Moja Love’s upcoming reality series, Umakhwapheni, which has sparked debate on social media.
Mashabela Galane will be hosting Moja Love’s newest reality series, Umakhwapheni, which is expected to premiere in mid-2021. In a Twitter post from the channel today, 22 January 2021, Mashabela introduced the premise of the show to the viewers, and encouraged them to partake in the programme if their relationship story aligns with the focus of the show.
According to the presenter, the programme is centred around men who have affairs with other women, despite already being a relationship. Mashabela advised viewers that these situations hardly ever work out in the “side chick’s” favour, and advised them to call into the show to share their stories.
The host will then help the complainant confront the man in question, and demand that he make a choice about which woman he wants to be with. The show has sparked much conversation on social media, with some claiming that the content is inappropriate. Many believe that it is promoting infidelity, and that it will result in broken families.
