**Monday night’s episode of The Queen saw South African actor, Matli Mohapeloa, making his debut on the weekday drama series, assuming the role of Eric Grootboom.**

The latest episode of Mzansi Magic’s The Queen, which aired on Monday, 23 March 2020, saw the introduction of Eric Grootboom. Viewers immediately commented on the announcement post and expressed that they hoped he would become Kea’s boyfriend. Matli also shared an Instagram post on Sunday, 22 March 2020, announcing his new role, with the series’ official page also sharing a teaser of this week’s episodes.
