Mi Casa gush over Huawei Joburg Day line-up 

The trio was announced as part of the star-studded line-up that will grace the stage at the Johannesburg Botanical Gardens in Emmarentia in May 2019.

Private radio station, 947, revealed on Friday, 18 January 2019, that house music group, Mi Casa, will be one of many performers at the upcoming Huawei Joburg Day event.

“What a line-up,” the band commented, quoting a tweet from the radio station. The event will take place at the Johannesburg Botanical Gardens in Emmarentia on Saturday, 4 May 2019. Other performers at the event are Sho Madjozi, Matthew Mole, DJ Zinhle, TKZee, Mango Groove, Sun-EL Musician, Prince Kaybee, Beatenberg, Holly Rey, Easy Freak and Shortstraw.

In January, the band will be performing at the Sun Met at Kenilworth Racecourse in Cape Town as part of the line-up for the Glenlivet JazzTown marquee. The band also performed at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens in Cape Town in December 2018 as part of the Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts.

The musicians released their latest single ‘Love Is’ on Friday, 14 December 2018. Mi Casa has four albums, with their most recent, ‘Familia,’ being released in August of 2017. The eight-track album is supported by the single, ‘Nana’ and features songs like ‘Bamba’ and ‘Feeling You’.

Early bird tickets to Huawei Joburg Day are currently on sale at Ticketpro for a price of R250. The event will start at 10am.
