Mihlali Ndamase has announced that she will be hosting Mzansi Magic’s Buyel’ Ekhaya Music Festival, which will also serve as her first time hosting on television.
Mihlali Ndamase shared a Twitter post on Wednesday, 16 December 2020, announcing that she is the host of the Buyel’ Ekhaya Music Festival, which will be broadcast on Mzansi Magic. The music festival will air on Saturday, 26 December 202,0 at 21:30. Mihlali stated, “My first ever TV hosting gig, so looking forward to be having the time of my life at the Buyel’ Ekhaya Music Festival, 26 December [2020] on Mzansi Magic, [DStv] channel 161 at 21:30. Will you be joining me? You better be.”
Mihlali has been open about her efforts to expand her career outside of social media, as she appears to be venturing into the television industry. In November 2020, the media star took to Twitter to reveal that she was working on an undisclosed production that required her to memorise an entire script.
Alluding to the fact that she would be acting, the social media influencer explained that she was feeling nervous whilst preparing. She stated, “I’m learning an entire script, I’m so nervous.” It is still unclear if she was referring to her role as the host of the Buyel’ Ekhaya Music Festival.
