Mihlali Ndamase to British Airways: My wig was stolen and you owe me money

Published on

Mihlali Ndamase has detailed the service she received from British Airways, following an incident that resulted in her and her manager’s luggage allegedly being broken into and her wig going missing.

Mihlali Ndamase took to Twitter on Tuesday, 20 April 2021, and launched into a detailed series of tweets on her displeasure with air carrier, British Airways. In her initial post, Ndamase attempted to keep the name of the air carrier private, writing, “First this airline owes me money from December from an error someone made internally while doing my booking telephonically, now someone broke my cable, and stole my wig. Lady at baggage enquiries is telling me they aren’t held liable [because] it’s a wig? Balance me please.”

Thereafter, she eventually decided to tag the carrier. Moreover, she claimed that it was not just her luggage that was broken into, but her manager’s too. She went as far as sharing an image to prove her point and hopefully receive a response from British Airways. Eventually, the air carrier responded by asking her to send a private message for further investigation. There has been no word on whether she has been refunded for her missing wig.
