South African media personality, Minnie Dlamini Jones, shared a celebratory post on Instagram, acknowledging that she has reached three million followers on the popular social media platform.
On Wednesday, 25 July 2019, television host Minnie Dlamini Jones, expressed her gratitude in a picture post to thank everyone who made it possible for her to reach three million followers.
In her continued gratitude, Minnie mentioned in the post that she was grateful to all for the continuous support. In return, she vowed to continue putting forth good work and meeting the objectives of her community through her brand. She said in the post, “As long as you’ll have me, I will always try to better my brand, my community and my industry; for if I can inspire you to do more, then my job is done”.
From her newly achieved following of just over three million, Minnie’s post received over 60 000 likes and over 400 comments. Amongst the multitude of reactions that Minnie’s post received was a comment from one of South Africa’s most renowned designers, Gert-Johan Coetzee, who congratulated Minnie. “Big congrats love”, he said.
Internationally renowned South African actress, Terry Pheto, also commented on the post, proclaiming Minnie as a ‘national treasure and an international star’. Further congratulatory comments were made by the likes of Unathi Nkayi, Khanya Mkangisa, Moozlie and Gail Mabalane.
