The Homeground presenter took to social media to announce that her online skincare shop was live, with social media users flooding the post with comments about their shopping experience.

Following the announcement that her skincare brand, MD by Minnie Dlamini, would be available online under its own website, South African media personality, Minnie Dlamini Jones, took to social media on Tuesday, 17 September 2019, to reveal that the website was now live. Many social media users took the news with much excitement, with many sharing that they could not wait to make their first purchases, while others shared their experiences with the products.

One social media user asked if anyone had used the products and what they thought of them, to which social media user, Sinaye Mbeki, responded with her experience of using one of the three ranges. “It’s my second time using Rose Quartz, it is for dry skin and I am loving it. And it is almost half the price of what I have been using for years,”. Minnie then responded, saying, “Try it. I’m so proud of the quality, let me know what you think”.

Another social media user expressed her positive remarks about the products, saying, “Best products ever. I used three already, I am on the fourth one now and I will be buying soon”. Nombulelo Sonti wrote, “I am in love with your MD moisturiser and soap. So affordable. I smelled and felt so fresh at work today”.

Although many social media users commented with positive remarks, some social media users were worried about the products not being available for shipping in some African countries, such as Zimbabwe. Minnie clarified that the products would be available for worldwide shipping.
