Moja Love has premiered its new reality show, 1st Wife Vs 2nd Wife, which sees host, Bishop I Makamu, helping polygamous families find common ground.
Moja Love premiered its new reality show, 1st Wife Vs 2nd Wife, on Sunday, 7 March 2021. The docu-series shows popular media personality, Bishop I Makamu, meeting with a family whose lives have become strained due to the battle over power by the wives. The show sees the host intervening and helping polygamous families reach common ground, often caused by the tumultuous relationships between the first and second wives.
The premiere episode followed Chidi and Marie from Limpopo, who were struggling to find their place within their matrimonial home. As the first wife, Chidi claimed that she should be first preference when it comes to homes and other assets, whilst Marie insisted that it should be equal treatment as they are both married to the same man. Their husband was in favour of Marie’s opinion, leaving Chidi to fight on her own to have her way.
