Moja Love premieres new show, AmaBishop

Published on

Moja Love has premiered a new controversial show, AmaBishop, which sees a group of well-known religious leaders coming together to offer their opinions on taboo topics.

Moja Love’s new reality show, AmaBishop, premiered on Sunday, 7 March 2021. The show brings together some of Africa’s most well-known religious leaders to share their thoughts on controversial subject matters. The panel includes Bishop Maponga, Pastor Enoch F. Phiri and Reverend Teboho Moema, amongst others. They each have personal views that are often in conflict with one another.

Many of the pastors featured on AmaBishop previously formed part of the cast of Moja Love’s reality show, Abafundisi, where they gained fame for their unconventional practices and beliefs. The premiere episode of AmaBishop saw the men discussing topics such as pastors taking advantage of women from their congregation and how they are often found behaving inappropriately, despite their religious obligation to God. Moja Love captioned the preview, “We look at how the church has evolved over the years and discuss controversial issues with a panel of church leaders around the church.”
