Moja Love TV warns that its Rea Tsotella line has been hacked

Moja Love TV has notified viewers that their contact line for the popular show, Rea Tsotella, has been hacked by an unknown person who has been issuing false claims and statements.

In a post shared on all social media pages by television channel, Moja Love, viewers have been warned that their telephone line, for the show Rea Tsotella has been hacked. This includes their WhatsApp and SMS lines. The post, shared on Wednesday, 17 July 2019 stated, “Our Rea Tsotella phone line (WHATSAPP and SMS included) has been hacked. Hackers are asking for money to have your stories aired on our channel. Moja Love TV wishes to distance themselves from this [as it is] FRAUD.”

Fans of the show took to social media to share their concerns regarding the situation, with many saying that people were bound to fall for the hacker’s scheme considering the messages were issued from the official phone line. Orapeleng Tawana claimed to know of victims, stating, “Some already paid I know. Mzansi [people] will never disappoint me.” Some viewers also suggested that the hackers be brought onto Rea Tsotella, as the situation fits the premise of the show. Boitumelo Percy stated, “Bring those hackers to Rea Tsotella.”

Rea Tsotella is a confrontational conflict resolution reality talk show which focuses on family, romantic and business relationships. Host, Bishop I Makamu, serves as the mediator and helps all parties come to a constructive conclusion.

According to Moja Love, a new number will be issued soon, allowing viewers to submit their stories to the correct source.
