Mzansi Magic has confirmed that Mzwandile Ngubeni is the new host of Love Back, following the dating reality show’s recent return to television screens.
Lungile Radu, co-founder of Parental Advisory Productions (PAP), took to Twitter on Tuesday, 6 April 2021, to share a preview of the new season of popular dating reality show, Love Back. The new season has returned with a new host, Mzwandile Ngubeni.
In a statement shared ahead of the first episode’s airing, Mzansi Magic revealed that Mzwandile Ngubeni will now be fronting the show. The statement read, “Straight from his stint on The River where he portrayed a delusional love-struck character, Elvis Baloyi, Mzwandile Ngubeni is digging deep into communities and relationships in hopes ‘try to fix the nation one couple at a time through love’ on the popular relationship show that gives people a chance to try everything in their power to get a former lover back in their lives.”
Ngubeni was also quoted as saying, “Love Back is in line with my personal ethos and purpose on why I do television, and it is all about nation-building and making sure that we have a more united nation through love and open communication.”
The new season premiered at 20:00 on Tuesday, 6 April 2021, on Mzansi Magic, DStv channel 161.
