Nadia Nakai premiered as the co-host of Channel O’s new music show, Gen Z, which is a showcase of music, celebrities and the latest pop culture news.
Nadia Nakai’s new show, Gen Z, premiered on Channel O on Thursday, 4 March 2021, where she served as the official co-host alongside media personality, President Thato, of YoTV fame. The rapper-turned-host announced her latest project in a tweet on Monday, 1 March 2021, stating, “Announcment! I am the new presenter of the fire show called Gen Z, alongside the amazing Prezo, airing on Channel O. Set your reminders now [because] we [are] coming in hot!”
The new show, which will air every Thursday at 18:00, will see Nadia and Thato meeting with some of the most prominent up-and-coming artists in South Africa, which they have labelled as “pacemakers.” Each episode will feature performances from these artists, as well as commentary on the latest pop culture new from both presenters.
